About AI Business Guide

Who we are and what we publish — independent, vendor-neutral guidance that helps businesses adopt AI and measure a real return.

AI Business Guide is an independent site that helps businesses adopt AI and get a real return from it — practical, vendor-neutral guidance for leaders, managers and the teams who actually have to make it work. It is written for operators, not researchers, and it does not sell any tool.

The problem we're trying to solve

Most AI advice pitched at business is marketing in disguise or hype with no operating detail. It tells you AI will transform everything and leaves out the part where you have to pick a use case, run a pilot, prove it saved money, and keep sensitive data out of a public model. That unglamorous middle is exactly where projects succeed or quietly die.

So we write about that middle. Our guides are built around decisions a real business faces — what to automate first, how to roll a tool out safely, how to measure ROI honestly, and what belongs in an AI usage policy — with checklists and numbers you can act on.

What we publish

Who writes it

Every article carries a named byline and a date. Our contributors work in AI adoption, marketing operations, automation and governance, and each guide is written by someone who has done the thing it describes. Diane Ellison edits the site.

How we handle numbers

The only frequently-changing data we publish is model API pricing, and we keep it in a single maintained table with a verification date and links to each provider's own pricing page. You can inspect the whole thing on the model pricing page. If the date there looks stale, treat the figures as indicative and check the provider.

How the site is funded

AI Business Guide is free to read and supported by display advertising served through Google Ad Manager. Advertisers have no input into what we cover or what we conclude, we do not sell placement in any guide or in the tool picker, and no article is written or amended at an advertiser's request. Our editorial standards set out how we keep that line.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any other AI provider. We are not a reseller or a consultancy. Nothing here is legal, financial, or professional advice — it is general information, and decisions with real money or real risk attached should involve someone qualified who knows your situation.
